Monday-

Happy Heroes day!! Thank you to all of you who have served our country!!

3 miles on a track, my very first time. Yes I was a track virgin. And my first time was not so bad. Slow, steady, then cool off and LOTS of stretching. I pulled something in my calf during the weekend. So stretching is ultra important... especially if I'm running everyday.

Not sure if I like the counting of circles, or the monotonous scenery. But this is about running now not about scenery. So I'll learn to adapt.

There were people there. Didn't like that. Tried to be cool about it. But my heart raced a bit before I stepped on the track, so I did some stratching to try and calm down and be like Joe Cool. After the 1st two laps I think I found my stride and kept to it. I didn't like the fact that the people were distracting, there weren't many but they were still distracting. I'll just have to adapt and get better.

I did a little yoga on the track, or rather in it on the soft grass. NICE. Beautiful sunshine.

Happy Heroes Day- enjoy your long weekend!!!
